The Fine Line Between Love and Hate

I know there are lovers and haters of this camera. That's good, this camera isn't for everyone. But I love this camera. The Polaroid I-2 is super frustrating at times, but that just comes with shooting instant film. It takes practice. You have to look past the price of the film and just trust the process. You will have plenty that won't work out. But when you do get one it feels even more special. I remember the one thing that I missed when I started shooting digital was that you had to move so much faster. People expected it. But when you shot medium format or 4x5 film you always had to take your time. You had to connect, you had to be present. You get the same feeling of shooting with this camera. You get to be the observer, the participant, and the creator. That’s why I love it. And I love that when all else fails and you want to make sure you get a good shot put it on Auto, It’s pretty good that way.

A single image time capsule that was taken with the idea only to capture the moment. Sweet
